A news broadcast is being aired in a shop window, Luna and Artemis watch with worried faces.

Reporter: "The sunspot has continued its abnormal expansion and all over the world various natural disasters, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and hurricanes are occurring, believed to be due to this phenomenon.  Concerning this, the Meteorological Agency has said that this is a first in observation history and they cannot say how it will affect Japan."  

Artemis: "We have to do something about it soon."

It looks like WWIII in Usagi's kitchen, dirty pots and dishes lie in jumbled sticky heaps.  The Tsukino Family is gathered around the dinning room table table, hesitantly preparing themselves to eat Usagi's 'special' homemade curry.   

Usagi: "Okay, everyone, thank you for waiting!  This is Usagi-chan's special curry and rice!"
Dad: "I'm so touched that you cooked dinner!."

Usagi: "Oh, Dad, you're making such a big deal out of it!

Dad: "Okay, everyone, shall we dig in?"

Shingo: "Is this really edible?"
Usagi: "How rude. It may look bad but it has a gourmet flavor."

The curry is a little more than a lumpy mess, and looks anything but appetizing.  Usagi makes an attempt to reassure them by taking the first bite, her family crowds in to see her reaction.

Usagi takes a large helping into her mouth and slowly begins to chew.  Slowly her pleased smile begins to fade and is replaced by a tight frown, tears well at the corners of her eyes.  

Usagi: "It's too spicy!" 

Shingo: "I knew it."

The girls are all gathered at the Hikawa Shrine in preparation for their trip to the D point, a large negative energy source and Queen Beryl's base of operation. 

Minako: "Finally, it's time."
Makoto: "I can't wait!"
Ami: "I can't believe we've finally come this far."

Usagi leans in close to Rei's ear with a sly expression on her face.

Usagi falls on the ground with a thud from the force of Rei's voice and whines up to Rei,

Usagi: "Your so mean! I was just worried about you, Rei-chan!"
Rei: "It's none of your buisness!"
Minako: "Usagi-san, let's stop thinking about 'what ifs'."
Makoto: "She's right. Like me?  I'm planning on having a full-blown romance!"
Usagi: "Mako-chan... You're right. I'm sorry."
Ami: "Love, huh? Maybe, me, too..."

The girls crowd around Ami and give her curious looks. Her cheeks glow bright red and she sinks her head down into her scarf to hide her blushing face.  

Artemis and Luna interrupt the girls from their chit chat and bring them back to reality.

Artemis: "Come on, we don't have time for chitchat."
Luna: "Everybody, make up."
Usagi: "Moon Prism Power! Make Up!"
Ami: "Mercury Power..."
Rei: "Mars Power..."
Makoto: "Jupiter Power..."
Minako: "Venus Power..."
All Girls: "Make Up!"

While the girls are transforming Luna and Artemis are talking to each other.

Luna: "You're going to the D-Point in the North Pole in one shot!"  

Moon: "How?"
Artemis: "You'll combine your powers to teleport."

Luna: "We're injured, so we'll stay behind to avoid getting in your way, but you'll be okay, right?"

Artemis: "As long as the Sailor Senshi work together, you'll be able to defeat Queen Beryl for sure!"

After the girls finish transforming into Sailor Senshi, they join hands in a circle, heads bowed as if concentrating.  The clouds above part to reveal the full moon, casting its glow on the circled senshi.

Artemis: "Sailor Teleport!"

A gentle glow starts to form around the scouts and a soft breeze stirs their hair.  The stone bricks beneath their feet shatter around them in a circle and the senshi fade into nothingness.

Artemis: "Good luck."
Luna: "Everyone, come back to us safely." 

The sailor senshi have arrived at their destination in the arctic and are now looking for an entrance to Queen Beryl's hideout. Sailor Mercury is scanning the area on her mini data computer and Usagi is of course complaining.

Moon: "It's COLD! How can you all act like there's nothing wrong?!"

Mars: "Shut up! If you stand up straight you won't be cold!"
Moon: "If it's cold it's cold no matter what you do!"
Mercury: *thinking to herself* This certainly doesn't bode well... 

Mercury: "Everyone, I found it!. Huge amounts of evil energy is being released from over there!"

Sailor Mercury points off into the distance at a large smoking crater in the ground.  Usagi sneezes from the cold looking miserable.

Meanwhile, in her hideout, Queen Beryl watches the girls in her dark crystal ball as they make their way across the snowy tundra.  

Beryl: "Queen Metalia-sama will resurrect soon. I will not allow you to interfere!  Whoever wants to give them a death sentence, come forward!"

As Beryl makes her plea to her subordinates a group of 5 females appear before her. They are called the DD Girls.

DD: "Please allow us, the DD Girls to take that assignment!"
                                                  

The senshi continue to search for the enemy, heading towards where Mercury directed them when she stops them.  At the same time the biting wind stops, leaving them in silence.

Mercury: "Wait! The energy reading went up."

An eerie haze appears, surrounding them.  

Jupiter: "It's coming!".

The girls look all around them and something catches Sailor Moon's eye.

The form of Tuxedo Kamen appears before them, hanging from chains attached to an invisible wall. In alarm Moon takes a hurried step towards him, but Sailor Mercury stops her.

Moon: "Tuxedo Kamen!  Tuxedo Kamen!"
Mercury: "Wait. It could be a trap!"
Jupiter: "It usually is..."
Moon: "But..."  

Mars: "You're targeted first because you're so simpleminded!"
Moon: "But..."
Mercury: "I'll check into it right now."

Mercury begins her scan, but before she has a chance to detect anything abnormal, 'Tuxedo Kamen' speaks.

Tuxedo: "Help me... Sailor Moon...  Sailor Moon..."

Tuxedo Kamen's voice sounds strained, as if he's having trouble speaking.  Sailor Moon is in obvious conflict.  After a few moments she can stand it no longer and rushes towards him.

Moon: "I just can't leave him like that!"
Venus: "Wait, Sailor Moon!  Sailor Moon!"

All but Mercury who is still scanning chase after Sailor Moon and tackle her to the ground.

Moon: "But he's suffering!  How can you ignore him like that?!  Let me go!" 

Tuxedo Kamen's eyes begin to glow red and an evil grin spreads over his face.  Mercury finally gets the reading she was scanning for and cries out in alarm.

Mercury: "Watch out! That's a youma!"

Everyone:  "What?"

Sharpened vine like objects shoot from the fake Tuxedo Kamen, aiming for the girls holding Sailor Moon to the ice.  They manage to dodge out of the way just in time.

Sailor Mars looses her temper and Sailor Moon recoils in shame.

Mars: "There! You see!?"
Moon: "I'm sorry..."

The phony Tuxedo Kamen fades to reveal one of the DD girls sent to eliminate the sailor senshi.  Sailor Moon angrily jumps to her feet.

Moon: "Hey you stupid youma! How dare you trick me! I was a fool for being so gullible, but you're a bigger fool for crushing a girl's innocent feelings!  Because, because, you've seriously made me mad!  So now..."

Mars: "You talk too much!"
Moon: "Anyways!  In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"

The other four DD Girls appear behind the first.

Moon: "Oh! Five?!"
DD: "Inside the D-Point, you cannot defeat us.

The five DD Girls fade and illusion Tuxedo Kamen appears once again.  Sailor Moon gets worried, her eyes widening.

Tuxedo: "Sailor Moon... I love you."

Sailor Mars looks amused.

Mars: "Who would be stupid enough to fall for the same trick twice?"

Before the words are even out of her mouth, Sailor Moon once again rushes forward towards him.

Mars: "Don't fall for it as I'm saying that!"

The girls once again tackle her to the ice.

Moon: "But what if he's the real one this time?!"

The senshi just avoid the attack and run to safety, Sailor Mars dragging Moon by her collar and trying not to punch her. 

Mars: "See!?"

While the other girls continue to run, Jupiter falls behind, turning to face the enemy head on.

Jupiter: "Don't underestimate us!"

Sailor Jupiter prepares to unleash her Supreme Thunder on the bogus Tuxedo Kamen.  But before she can get her attack off, he vanishes, an image of Motoki replacing him.

Jupiter: "Oh, Motoki-san?"

But like Tuxedo Kamen, the bound Motoki is also an illusion.  Sailor Jupiter notices too late as vines burst from the ice around her feet and constrict around her.  As more vines erupt from Motoki's chest his illusion dissipates to reveal a DD girl.  The senshi watch in horror as the other DD Girls burst through the ice, holding Sailor Jupiter high in the air.

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars prepare their attacks to save Sailor Jupiter.

Moon: "Moon Tiara..."
Mars: "Fire..."

But it's too late.  The DD Girls quickly fly up close to Sailor Jupiter, putting her in harms way.

Mars: "We can't fire. Jupiter will get caught in our attack!"

Jupiter: "Don't worry about me! Hurry, go to where Queen Beryl is!"

The DD Girls begin to send jolts of electricity through Jupiter's body causing her to double over in pain.  She glares up at them, her eyes narrowed.

Jupiter: "You got some nerve using electric shock against me!"  

DD: "What?"
Jupiter: "Prepare yourselves!"

Jupiter: "Supreme Thunder!"  

Sailor Jupiter gives her all in this final attack.

DD: "You impertinent little... DIE!"

The DD girls underestimate her but soon realize their folly as the ball of  electricity grows larger.

DD: "Curse you!"

All but one of the DD girls make it out as the building energy lets loose, melting and then flash freezing the surrounding landscape into a large spiky ice tower. 

The senshi had been forced to their knees during the blast and slowly lift their eyes to survey the damage.  Sailor Moon is the first to see and widens her eyes in horrific surprise.

Senshi: "Jupiter!"

Sailor Jupiter gave her all to protect her friends and now lies on the brink of death, her closed eyes slowly flutter open at the sound of her name.

Jupiter: "Everyone..."

Everyone rushes up to the tower with Sailor Moon in the lead.  Moon attempts to climb the slippery surface but is forced to stop half way.

Moon: "We're coming to help you!"
Jupiter: "I'm done.. Instead, everyone hurry to where Queen Beryl is...

Moon: "No! We cant!  We have to all go together! Mako-chan, remember what you told me?!  That you'd have a full-blown romance when you got back!  That's what you told me... You shouldn't lie.. The King of Hell will cut out your tongue.."

Sailor Jupiter smiles sadly as she listens to Sailor Moon speak.  She knows she isn't going anywhere.

Jupiter: "There's no time to cry princess. So please... cheer up..."  

Jupiter's eyes slowly close and her body goes limp.  Sailor Moon and the other senshi stare at her lifeless body in disbelief.

Sailor Moon clings to the ice below Sailor Jupiter, crying and calling her name.

Moon: "Mako-chan! You can't!  You can't die!"
Venus: "Let's get going"
Moon: "No..."
Venus: "Sailor Moon."
Moon: "I think it would be better to give up the Silver Crystal."

Mars: "What are you saying?"
Moon: "That's what I should've done from the beginning. Here Queen Beryl, take the Silver Crystal!"

Sailor Mercury and Mars grab a hold of Sailor Moon, trying to stop her as. Sailor Moon is crying and talking nonsense, and trying to run away from the ones holding her.  Mercury grabs her more firmly by the shoulder. 

Moon: "Let go of me! It's the crystal's fault that Mako was..."

Sailor Mercury slaps Sailor Moon across the face in an attempt to make her see reason.

Mercury: "I'm sorry. But don't let Jupiter's death go to waste."

Mercury has a sad but resigned look on her face until her mini computer begins to beep.

Mercury: "They're coming.  You three go ahead, I'll stop them here."
Mars: "But..."
Mercury: "From here on, the offensive power is a must. That means you three. Go on"  

Moon: "Ami, you aren't..."

Mercury: "I won't die."

Moon: "Promise me."

Mercury only smiles reassuringly as Sailor Venus leads Sailor Moon away with Mars in the lead.  It's not long before Mercury is left alone.

Mercury: "Come and get me."

An illusion of Urawa appears hanging in front of Sailor Mercury.  She appears surprised at first then smiles softly.

 Mercury: "So I have the privilege of seeing an illusion too."

Her face becomes serious as she turns on her goggles, instantly seeing that the illusion is only a DD girl in disguise.  The computer image becomes distorted and she quickly turns off the goggles only to see a wave of lava rushing towards her.

Mercury: "Bubble Spray!"

The lava cools and hardens from Sailor Mercury's quick thinking. Three of the remaining DD Girls fly from the hardened lava and hover above her, forming a lava ball which comes crashing down, Sailor Mercury runs out of the way.  

Mercury: "The illusion has heat energy like a real one?  The source of the illusions is the stone on her forehead... I'll have to destroy the source of the illusions." 

Using her goggles she learns that the fireballs are merely illusions created by a jewel on one of the DD Girl's foreheads.  She gets an idea.                                                                                        

Mercury: "Bubble Spray!"

She places a bubble spray around her body and allows the lava to flow over her.  It's not long before the DD Girls show up and entangle her in their vine trap.

DD: "We'll make a roast pig out of you."  

Mercury: "That's rude."
DD: "Oh, a roast potato then?"

The DD Girls burn Sailor Mercury causing her to scream with pain.

DD: "Die!"

Sailor Mercury doubles over and goes limp while the girls laugh.  She weakly holds up her data computer to her face.

Mercury: "Today is the last day I use this..."  

With the last of her strength, Mercury raises the small computer and smashes the illusion causing jewel.  The lava ball disappears.

DD: "We can't make illusions anymore."

In disgust they fly away, leaving Mercury to her fate.  All at once, the other senshi know what has become of Sailor Mercury. 

Sailor Moon drops to her knees and pounds the ground with her fists and then cries with abandon.

Moon: "Ami.... Ami.... Ami is dead!"  

Mars: "You can't keep crying every time." 

Mars: "It gets worse from here on."
Moon: "But I never thought this would happen."

Sailor Moon is on the ground crying when Sailor Venus notices a reddish spot that is forming below Sailor Moon.

Venus: "Look out!"
Sailor Venus jumps and pushes Sailor Moon out of the way only to get caught herself.  

Vines shoot out from the red spot and wrap around Sailor Venus' waist, holding her high in the air. Sailor Moon is terrified.

Moon: "Stop! I'll give you the Silver Crystal! So let go of Minako!"

Venus: "I'll never forgive you if you do that!"  

Sailor Venus is then pulled into the hole screaming. Sailor Moon and Mars look into the hole helplessly. They can hear the DD Girls speaking.

DD: "Fool. Do not waste our time begging for her life! We will have the Silver Crystal once we get rid of you! First is this one!"

The opening begins to glow a bright orange and Sailor Mars pushes herself and Sailor Moon out of the way before the whole area begins to crumble.  

Sailor Venus is held tightly by the DD Girls' vines but she still manages to shakily raise her hand and form the seal for her Crescent Beam.

Venus: "Crescent...."  

She then places her finger on the nearest DD Girls' forehead.

Venus: "Beam!"

There was no avoiding Sailor Venus' attack.  One more DD Girl down, two to go.  Unfortunately Venus also suffered a critical amount of damage during the blast.

Sailor Mars forcibly drags Sailor Moon to the top of the next hill and stops while Sailor Moon cries.
Mars: "We've always quarreled, but it was fun being with you."  

Moon: "Why are you saying that!?"
Mars: "Just in case I die. I had to say that."
Moon: "You said there's no 'just in case'!  

The remaining two DD girls are waiting in the distance.

Moon:  "Wait. I'll fight by myself. I'll get them and Queen Beryl. So go home. Don't die."  

Mars: "You still have the last big battle to fight. You have to save energy."

Mars: "Hey, when was it decided that I'm going to die? I'll go get rid of them in a sec!"  

Sailor Mars walks forward, giving Sailor Moon a peace sign over her shoulder as she heads out to fight the remaining DD girls alone.  Sailor Moon stands there dumbfounded.  Mars goes into her attack pose but the DD girls are too fast and dive beneath the ice.

Mars: "Too fast!"

The ground rises beneath Sailor Mars before she has time to react, opening to swallow her whole and trap her within.  Sailor Moon can do nothing but stare blankly at the mountain of ice.  

Moon:  "Rei-chan..."

One of the DD Girls shoots out of the ground behind Sailor Moon like a rocket.  Sailor Moon just stares at her blankly with no expression.

DD: "Now I have you!"  

The DD girl lunges towards Sailor Moon but fire leaps out of the icy ground and incinerates her before she even realizes what's going on.

Inside the mountain of ice you can hear the last DD Girl cursing.

DD: "Why you!"

A fight ensues beneath the ice and eventually causes it to split open. The sole remaining DD Girl rises from the rubble and lifts Sailor Mars with her vines dropping her to the ground. 

DD: "Now the last one is the princess."

The DD Girl rises into the air ready to attack Sailor Moon who stares in horror.

DD: "Say your prayers."

Suddenly the DD Girl pauses.

DD: "What?!"

The DD Girl looks down and Sailor Mars is holding onto one of vines with a death grip.

Mars: "It's... not over.... yet."

The DD Girl gets a look of horror on her face and screams.

Mars: "Fire... Soul!"

Flames speed along the vines, quickly spreading up to the DD Girl's body, causing a great explosion.  The ice melts and reforms from the fiery attack and when it stops Sailor Mars is laying on the ice crystals, Sailor Moon watching from afar.  

Mars: "You were right. I should've kissed Yuichiro goodbye..."

Sailor Moon has wandered off to a lonely ledge, the last remaining Sailor Senshi.. her friends have all left.  

Moon: "Mako-chan... Ami-chan... Minako-chan... Rei-chan..."  

Moon: "I know. This is a dream. It's gotta be. When I wake up they'll say 'Good morning.' Rei will call me names, like baka Usagi"

Something feather light touches her on the shoulder causing her to turn around and come face to face with Sailor Jupiter.

Jupiter: "Come on, cheer up."  

Near Jupiter are the rest of her friends, cheering her on.

Mercury: "Usagi, focus."  

Venus: "Don't give up hope."  

Sailor Moon stares at them in disbelief and amazement, her eyes shine with unshed tears.

Mars: "Usagi, get up."

Sailor Moon quickly rises to her feet and turns.

Mars: "We'll always be with you."
Moon: "Everybody..."  

Mars: "Let's get going."

Sailor Moon gets up and starts to run as fast as her legs will carry her in search of Queen Beryl.  

Moon: "That's right. I'm not alone! I'm not!"  

Somewhere deep below...

Usagi's Everlasting Wish!  A New Reincarnation

The episode opens with Sailor Moon looking up at the icy stronghold, her friends' memory sharp in her mind and her heart as her hair blows in the wind.

Moon: "So, this is the Dark Kingdom's stronghold... Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan, Minako-chan... I'll do my best to the very end!"

Deep within, Queen Beryl sits on her throne, watching Sailor Moon's approach in her dark crystal ball.

Beryl: "So, little girl, you have come. I will show you what hell is."

Sailor Moon doesn't notice the wave of energy rapidly moving towards until it's too late.  She gasps as she's caught up in the energy 'bubble.'  Sailor Moon is carried screaming through the air and vanishes, reappearing inside where she's dropped roughly to the floor.

Beryl: "Welcome, Princess!  You have done well to come this far."

The shadows part to reveal the form of a woman with long red hair.

Moon: "Q..queen Beryl?"
Beryl: "Yes, I am Queen Beryl."

In the shadows, someone is kneeling beside the evil queen.  The shadows in the room shift to reveal none other than Prince Endymion, his lips lovingly pressed to Queen Beryl's outstretched hand.  Beryl smiles down at him in satisfaction.  

Beryl: "Endymion, kill the Princess."

Endymion's eyes snap open almost mechanically as he rises to do his queen's bidding.

Endymion: "As you wish."

Sailor Moon sits unbelieving on the floor as Endymion leaps towards Sailor Moon, his sword unsheathed and heading straight for her.  She comes to her senses just in time and jumps out of the sword's way.  Quickly she retrieves her Moon Stick, with the hopes of healing him.

Moon: "Moon Healing Escalation!"

Sailor Moon tries her best, stretching the wand closer to him, a desperate look on her face as Endymion stares blankly into its power.

Beryl: "You are wasting your time. You are still not a full-fledged princess.  Even if you use the Silver Crystal, you will not be able to remove Queen Metalia's dark energy from Endymion's body.  *She laughs*  Stop wasting your time and quietly hand me the Silver Crystal."

Endymion leaps and strikes out at Sailor Moon, he doesn't land a killing blow, but manages to knock the Moon Stick from her hand and knocks her to the floor in the process.

Endymion: "Sailor Moon..."

A black rose materializes in his raised hand.

Without a second thought, he casually flicks the ebon rose towards Sailor Moon.

Endymion: "Die."

The rose transforms into electrically charged, vine like chains, effectively binding her while sending painful jolts of electricity coursing through her body.  She screams in pain while Queen Beryl laughs in delight.  Endymion watches impassively.  

Sailor Moon: "Mamoru-san.."

She briefly remembers him the way he used to be.

Mamoru: "Odango Atama."

With one last powerful jolt, the black rose chains crumble away, leaving Sailor Moon screaming before she collapses on the floor from exhaustion.  A tear trickles down her cheek as she watches him step closer, his boots echoing in the large chamber.

Moon:  Mamoru-san...  

Prince Endymion walks slowly towards her, his face hard and cold.  He pauses only to kick her, sending her sprawling.

He picks her up roughly by the neck, choking her painfully with his dark power.  She screams, and screams...  

Beryl: "Soon the black spot will cover the entire sun, and Her Majesty Metalia-sama shall be revived. *After a pause while Sailor Moon is continually tortured*  Enough, Endymion."

Endymion throws Sailor Moon roughly to the floor.

Beryl: "The Princess' head. Remove it."

Sailor Moon reaches out for her Moon Stick, only a few inches away from her outstretched hand.  

Beryl:  "It is no use. Her Majesty Metalia will resurrect soon. When her dark energy covers the world, the Silver Crystal will provide her with all the energy she needs, she is certain to utilize its power to the maximum. Everything you have been doing will have been meaningless!"

Sailor Moon is horrified.  Everything useless.  She thinks about her friends who have died and how their deaths would become meaningless.  The hand that was reaching for the Moon Stick balls into a tight fist, tears stand in her eyes.  

Endymion raises his sword, prepared to take the Moon Princess' head, but Sailor Moon has another plan in mind.

The jewel on her tiara begins to glow as she struggles to a kneeling position.  She then unleashes its power on her prince, trying to weaken him.

Sailor Moon hopes that her plan will work as she drops her tiara which clatters to the floor along with Endymion.  Sailor Moon pants harshly.  

Sailor Moon looks hopeful as Endymion lies there, but it's not long before he's once again struggling to his feet, the sound of a growling beast echoes throughout the room.

Beryl: "Endymion carries dark energy within himself. You cannot defeat him so easily."

Endymion groans and struggles to his feet, determined to carry out his duty to destroy Sailor Moon and take her head.

Moon: "Stop..."

Endymion: "Sailor Moon!"

Moon: "Stop..."

Her voice trembles with emotion.

Endymion screams and raises his sword high above his head.

Endymion: "Die!"

Moon: "STOP!"

Gentle music tinkles in the air from the star locket in Sailor Moon's outstretched hands, causing Prince Endymion to momentarily freeze. 

Moon: "Please remember?  I'm Serenity. In the distant past, we swore eternal love to each other.  I'm Serenity of the Moon Kingdom."

Endymion is not convinced and growls at her.

Endymion: "Whoever stands in the way of the Dark Kingdom will die!"

 Moon: "You are just being influenced by the evil energy. Please regain your gentle heart..."

Prince Endymion begins to shake, his resolve wavering.

Moon:  "I don't want to.  I don't want to fight you!"  

His face softens in wonder.

Moon: "Please?"

Endymion slowly lowers his sword as if in a trance, slowly reaching towards the outstretched locket. 

As soon as his fingertips touch the metallic surface a pure glow travels along his body, basking the area with light and forcing everyone to shield their eyes.

In his mind Darien is still the little boy who lost his parents in a car accident, he remembers...

Mamoru:  "Who am I?  I can't remember anything!  Am I all alone?!"

 tightly closes his eyes as he begins to cry.

Usagi:  "No, you're not."

The little Mamoru raises his head and looks around to see Usagi standing at his bedside.

Usagi:  "You have me."

Mamoru: "What?"

Usagi kneels down next to him, taking his hand in hers.

Usagi:  "Don't worry.  You're not alone."

Beryl: "What is this?"

The bright light fades from around Endymion and his sword clatters to the ground shortly followed by himself.  Sailor Moon rushes to his side.  

Moon:  "Mamoru-san!"

Endymion:  "Usagi.."

A crimson rose floats down next to him, soft petals caressing the cold metal of his sword.  He looks up to her with a weary but a dashing smile.

Endymion: "Thank you."

Moon: "Mamoru-san.  I'm so glad!"

Sailor Moon takes Endymion in her arms, holding him lovingly to her chest while weeping softly.

Beryl: "I will not forgive you, Princess!  Trying to steal Endymion from me again!  I will not forgive you!!"

Queen Beryl glares, her eyes full of hate and malice.  She will not allow Endymion to be taken away from her again!

She throws a large crystal spike towards the already wary couple, sending it on a direct path towards them at a high speed.  

Endymion manages to pull a rose out of thin air which colides with the spike, splintering it into smaller less dangerous shards.   

The rose found its mark, landing square in the middle of Queen Beryl's chest, and unfortunately, so does one of the black shards, which embed into Prince Endymion's back while he was using his body to shield Sailor Moon.

Beryl: "Endymion, why do you protect that girl?!  If you'd have married me, you could have been the king of the Earth and Moon."

Queen Beryl's chest begins to crack where the rose implanted itself.

Beryl: "Impossible!"

Sailor Moon is on the ground with Endymion lying in her lap.  His face is contorted with pain.

Moon: "Mamoru, hang on!"

Queen Beryl hits her knees and stares at the now smoldering rose in her chest.

Beryl: "How could such a thing harm me?  Energy?  Is Endymion's love for that girl destroying my body?!  I won't accept it!  I will never accept it..."

She stares at them in disbelief, not fully understanding.  She pushes through the floor, intent on getting to Metalia.

Moon:  "Mamoru-san!  Mamoru-san!"

Endymion is lying in Sailor Moon's arms, in pain from his fatal wound.

Endymion: "Hurry, get out of here."

Moon: "What?"

 Endymion: "Go back to being an ordinary girl and find a cool boyfriend or something."

Sailor Moon's eyes fill with tears.

Moon: "But Mamoru-san, your the coolest."

Endymion smiles briefly and then goes still, his eyes slowly closing as his head lolls to the side.  Sailor Moon's facial expression changes as grief fills her face and rips at her heart.  

Moon:  "Mamoru...?  Mamoru-san!!!"  

She clings to him, crying without abandon as she calls his name over and over... but he can't hear her.
 

Meanwhile, Queen Beryl is groveling before Metalia, begging for power.

Beryl: "Queen Metalia-sama, please lend me your power.  Please give me the power to defeat that hateful girl!"

Metalia: "Very well. The time has come to fill all life forms in the universe with hatred and suffering. Queen Beryl, you will destroy everything and everyone and cover the world with shadow!"

The case in which holds Queen Metalia breaks open and the energy that spills forth, washes over Queen Beryl and fills her. Beryl screams.

Sailor Moon hovers over Endymion as if she were to give him a gentle kiss but she stops..

Moon: "I'm sorry... I can't kiss you... Rei-chan, Ami-chan, Mako-chan, Minako-chan... They all died without kissing the boys they loved. So I cannot allow myself that joy...  I'm sorry, Mamoru-san.  I'm not going to run away.  There are still things I have to do.  Watch me.  I'll do my best."

Sailor Moon turns and leaves as the cave around her begins to shake and rumble, bits of rock fall away from the ceiling and clatter to the floor.

Back outside in the Arctic the ground begins to shake and beams of light stream through a new hold next to the original smoking crater and black smoke follows.  A large black blossom appears through the hole and as it unfolds reveals a new Queen Beryl, filled with Metalia's negative energy.

Beryl: "I have finally obtained the energy of darkness.  I will rule this world!"

A lone figure approaches from a distance and Queen Beryl turns to look.  She looks as if she's found a pesky bug, better to squash quickly.

Beryl: "So, you have come, Princess.  This time, you will die.  Princess!  Die!"

Queen Beryl creates a powerful energy in her hands and thrusts it at Sailor Moon.  The impact creates a tall ice tower, much like those her friends are already laid to rest upon.

Beryl: "Princess, die!" 

Queen Beryl glares at the tower as the top splits to form a flat surface.  

Standing composed on the ice tower's pinnacle is Princess Serenity, calmly waiting for the battle to begin.  

Tokyo is growing dark as the sunspots cast a shadow over the earth.  A mass blackout covers the city and the residents tremble in fear.  The Tsukino family is gathered around the window of their two story house while Luna and Artemis discuss this turn of events on the family's roof.

Artemis: "It's the end. The end of the world has come! The dark energy of Queen Metalia has been released."

Crying, Luna makes a dash across the roof but Artemis heads her off.

Artemis: "Wait, Luna!"

Luna: "Get out of my way. I'm going to the D point."

Artemis: "It's no use. There's nothing we can do now!"
Luna: "I know all that. But at this rate, Usagi will... She'll release the full power of the Silver Crystal. Then Usagi will die, just like Queen Serenity!"
Artemis: "I know! But there's no other way to save the world now.."

Luna looks up at the sky and pleads.

Luna: "Don't do it Usagi-chan! Don't release the power of the Silver Crystal! If you do, Usagi-chan, you'll die!"                                         

Back at the snowy D Point, Queen Beryl is staring at Princess Serenity maliciously, sure of her own victory.  Princess Serenity remains calm and composed.

Princess Serenity has her eyes closed, but when they open it signals the battle's start.

They ready their weapons, Serenity's Moon stick and Queen Beryl's dark power.

Serenity: "Moon Healing..."

Queen Beryl begins her energy attack.

Serenity: "...Escalation!"  

And the two powers collide, each pushing against the other in a contest of strength.  They both scream as they wield their tremendous powers.  

Beryl: "Why? Why do you go to such lengths to defy me?!  Even if you dream of a beautiful future, you will soon realize the truth.  This world is foul and corrupt!"

Serenity: "No. I have faith"  

Beryl: "In love? In friendship? Or in the trust between people?"  *She laughs*

Serenity: "I have faith. I have faith in this world that everybody tried to defend!"  

Beryl: "Fool! There is nothing to have faith in in this loathsome world!"

Serenity:  Please. Please, Silver Crystal. Let me believe even more in the world that everyone had faith in!" 

Princess Serenity remembers her friends, and how they've always been there for her, she needs their strength to get her through this..

Ami: "You shouldn't talk so casually about love.."  

Rei: "Don't get me wrong. I don't care for Yuichiro like that."  

Makoto: "So what if he's got a girlfriend? Just keep on the attack!"  

Minako: "It's ok. As long as Allen and Onee-sama are happy.  That's all that matters."  

Serenity: "Everybody..."

Beryl: "With dark energy within me, I cannot be sealed off by the Silver Crystal!"  

Beryl redoubles her efforts, sending a massive wave of power towards Princess Serenity that almost knocks her off balance.

Serenity: "Everybody, lend me your strength... PLEASE!"  

Princess Serenity is struggling against Queen Beryl when a ghostly hand helps her to steady the Moon Stick, soon another, and another, and yet another join her.

Even in death the senshi lend their power to Sailor Moon. 

Mercury: "Mercury Power!"
Mars: "Mars Power!"  

Jupiter: "Jupiter Power!"
Venus: "Venus Power!"

Serenity: "Moon Prism Power!"

Beryl: "What is this?!  Ahhh!  Ooo... Waaaahh!!!"

The evil Queen Beryl is no match for the combined power of the Sailor Senshi and Princess Serenity.  Their combined powers flow from the stick in a ball of power, enveloping Queen Beryl and destroying her and Metalia's power.

Princess Serenity falls backwards, transforming back into Sailor Moon as she does.  She smiles softly into the pink glow of victory and whispers, 

Moon: "Everyone... thank... you..."

With that she turns her head to the side and breaths her last. 

The pink glow continues to grow, surrounding the body of Sailor Moon and her loved ones in turn.

Moon: "When I wake up in the morning,  

a pure white lace curtain is rustling in the breeze.

The cuckoo clock in my room says it's 7 o'clock and Mama's voice say, "You'll be late if you don't get up!"

I'm still half asleep, and I think, "Please let me sleep for three more minutes." 

I'm late, just like every other day. Sensei makes me stand in the hallway, I fail another test.

The crepes we'd all eat on the way home.  We'd gaze dreamily at a party dress in a show window.   

The little things bring such joy and I'm happy.  I wish... I wish I could go back to that kind of normal life.  I want to go back.

CheepCheep CheepCheep CheepCheep...

Usagi: "Uahhh!  I'm late!"

Usagi jumps out of bed and her family looks up at the racket she's making.  She quickly grabs her things and runs out the door for school.

Usagi: "I'm leaving!"

Usagi runs down the sidewalk as the also tardy Makoto runs past.  Luna and Artemis are sitting on the roof watching as Usagi makes her mad dash to school. 

Artemis: "It's a miracle. Not only did the black spot on the sun disappear, but everybody came back to life."
Luna: "But I feel a little sad for them."

Rei is sweeping at her grandfather's temple as Usagi runs by.

Luna: "They lost all the memories of when they were friends."

Minako checks the time, the bus must be late.  Usagi passes Minako during her race to beat the clock.

Artemis: "Don't worry."  

Luna:  "What?"

Artemis: "They just need to meet each other again."

Luna: "You're right."

Usagi and Naru-chan are looking at their grades at school as Ami walks by.  Ami of course is at the top of the list and they wish their grades could be like hers.

Usagi and Naru are walking home from school. Usagi has failed yet another test and is complaining about it..

Usagi: "Oh, I wish I had studied more.."

Usagi crumples up the test and throws it behind her. 

Usagi: "Heck with it!  I'll get rid of it!"

The test paper hits someone on the head. It's Mamoru!

Mamoru: "That hurt, Odango-atama."  (Dumpling Head)

Mamoru looks at her test grade and Usagi freaks.

Mamoru: "Thirty percent? Study harder, odango-atama."

Usagi:  "Well excuse me!"

Usagi snatches the test from Mamoru and sticks her tongue out at him. 

Usagi: "It's none of his business!"

Mamoru takes off his sunglasses and stares at Usagi and Naru-chan as they begin to walk away.

Mamoru: "What a silly girl."

He smiles in a peculiar sort of way as he watches their backs leave.

Naru: "He's pretty good looking."
Usagi: "How can you say that!?  He was so obnoxious!"
Naru: "Oh, so you say now. You never know.  It might have been a fated encounter."

Usagi: "Gag!  Stop it!  I have my own dream!."
Naru: "Dream?"

Usagi: "That's right!  That I'll find a cool boyfriend who'll protect me no matter what!  That's my dream!"
